Sam Nicoresti is a multi award winning comedian from Birmingham, England.

I’ve heard great things about Sam’s previous shows, and Baby Doomer was a nominee for best show at the Leicester Comedy Festival this year. So I had very high expectations, and I was not disappointed.

Baby Doomer, explains the comedian, is a show about losing your mind and finding the perfect skirt suit. Now, I am not a trans woman, nor have I ever had an extremely awkward sartorial emergency in a TK Maxx. Sam’s great skill is to make her story so relatable that I find it surprisingly easy to imagine. Indeed, the more extreme the setup and punchline, the more relatable she somehow manages to be.
