Rarely have I felt more out of my depth going into show and rarely have I learned so much during a performance.

Character comedian and clown, Sophie Power appears on stage as a human sized vulva and invites the audience to play with her. “Don’t you want me baby?” sings the vulva as audience members initially recoil, then begin to engage. Sophie Power is in full control of the room. She quickly has the entire audience were eating out of her, umm, hand.

“Who am I?” asks the vulva. “You’re a fanny,” replies the Scottish lesbian in the second row. “Pussy” shouts a young man at the back. There are as many names as there are audience members, “vagina, love sandwich, the devils doorbell, clitoris, cunt…” and many more. The anatomy lesson that followed was hilarious.

Utilising Bouffon-style clowning, physical theatre and some great jokes, this is an interactive, informative, laugh out loud adult comedy show.  If young adult sex education lessons were like this, we’d all be better.
