Part of the stable of Stand Comedy Clubs. They also have venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Stand was founded by Tommy Sheppard and his then partner, Jane Mackay, in Edinburgh in 1995.

The Stand Newcastle opened in October 2011.
