Sisters Nicola and Rosie Dempsey are Flo and Joan, a genuinely world class musical comedy double act.

One Man Musical is a revival of their popular 2024 Edinburgh Fringe show that spoofs the life of musical theatre icon, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.

It’s a playful and very funny musical comedy. “It’s time to bring conservatism back to the arts and it starts with a show about me!”

We are treated to a version of a life story played played for laughs. ALW is skewered but not eviscerated.

The soundtrack to One Man Musical aught to be commercially available. The sisters’ parody mainstream musical tropes to wonderful effect.

A fun time.
