Comedian and musician, Parker Callahan, makes his Edinburgh Fringe debut with the show Soda Pop at the Assembly George Square Studios. Parker is a trained musician with a background in music theory and composition, but is best known as online digital creator @parkthelark
Soda Pop is a multimedia, stream of consciousness journey into the mind of a vacuous gay twink in Speedos. This is what happens when TikTok becomes sentient. When doomscrolling comes to the stage.
Unplug your brain and enjoy the ride if you can. There is a great deal of audience participation and interaction, and I imagine that the show works great with a large, slightly drunk young crowd in a club, as opposed to less than a dozen middle aged people in a posh lecture theatre.
