Popular Scottish comedian, Vladimir McTavish is an Edinburgh Fringe veteran. He’s been performing as himself and as Scotland’s favourite legendary ex-footballer cum pundit cum non-recovering alcoholic, Bob Doolally for decades.

In 1994, the comedian won the Strathmore Water Comedy Award on his first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe. The longevity comes of talent and hard work, but at what cost?

2025 Last Chance Saloon with Vladimir McTavish is the story of how he worked too hard, drank too much water – presumably tap – and as a result, had a worrying health scare.

This is a laugh out loud stand-up set, a show about the personal challenges of aging. Amongst the gags, it’s surprisingly tender.
