This is what the Fringe is all about.
I spent the first five minutes of the show staring stoney faced at the stage wondering what earth I’d chosen to come and see. Then Katie Pritchard is Sir Elton Scone won me over.
Right now, the temptation is for me to write, ‘I’m not even going to attempt to describe this batshit crazy show,’ and move on. It’s my job, I am going to try, but I can’t do it justice.
Blending reimagined versions of Elton John songs, and some admittedly quite good puns, our character comedian, dressed as Sir Elton Scone, hosts an untelevised TV baking game show, with no ovens. The whole audience is split in to two teams and absolute bloody chaos ensues.
Katie Pritchard is a brilliant character, musical comedian. She bakes it work.
