Ben Elton

Ben Elton is an English stand up comedian, writer, director, actor and novelist. He has written several popular TV sitcoms, including, ‘Blackadder’ (BBC1) and ‘The Young Ones’ (BBC2). He also wrote Queen musical ‘We Will Rock You’. Ben has had several novels published. He has dual nationality with the UK and Australia. In 2006, comedian Dan Thomas wrote and performed the Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, ‘Ben Elton – The Musical’, which satirised Ben’s perceived transformation from Alternative Comedy left wing trailblazer to centrist establishment figure.
