John Dowie is a former stand up comedian turned author.

He was one of the very first alternative comedians.

John’s popular children’s story Dogman was published in 2015 by BBC Worldwide with illustrations by Delphine Thomas. The audiobook of Dogman features Phil Jupitus and Neil Innes.
