Please tell me about your 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, All The Presidents Man.

My show is a stand up show about every U.S. President, and how learning about them helped me recover from a mental breakdown. Its a very silly, high energy multimedia show with loads of great jokes!

What is the attraction of performing at the Edinburgh Fringe? What do you think of Edinburgh?

I love the Fringe – I haven’t been for a few years, even before COVID, as I wasn’t mentally well enough to do it; but as soon as I started working on this show, my goal was to use it to debut at the Fringe. Its such a wonderful place full of brilliant creative people doing amazing things and I can’t wait to be a part of it.

Who inspires you?

I like comedians that do things other than traditional stand-up. I love Mat Ewins, Demetri Martin, Bo Burnham, Joseph Morpurgo, Tim Key, Christopher Bliss, John-Luke Roberts, Catherine Cohen, Nick Mohammed, and loads more, for this reason.

Are there other shows you want to check out during the Fringe? What are they?

There are so many! I’ll be doing everything I can to squeeze in seeing Crizards, Siblings, Crybabies, The Delightful Sausage, Luke Rollason, Jordan Brooks, Adam Flood, Ania Magliano, Chelsea Birkby, Mark Watson, Celya AB, Vittorio Angelone, and many, many, many more!

Finally, ask and answer a question of your own.

Who’s your favourite American President?

That’s a tough one. Probably Teddy Roosevelt; I admire his energy and determination, and I find it so funny that basically all he did in his free time was hunt wild animals.
