Denim - On The Mic

Denim: World Tour is a girl band pop tour designed for Wembley, performed by drag queens in a Fringe venue. We fired over a Q&A to get more info.

Hi ladies, tell me about your show.

Five queens. 80,000 people in the audience. An epic live singing pop performance. And the tragic backstories that got us here.

What does Edinburgh mean to you?

It’s nice to come to a rural town and give back to the communities before we got so big.

Who inspires you and why?

Our loyal fanbase.

Describe your best or worst experiences on stage.

Coming off, and having to say goodbye to the fans.

Describe your best or worst review.

Someone actually had a stroke in one of our shows (this is true)

If you weren’t a performer, what would you be?

Astronaut.

What was the last book you read?

My critically acclaimed best-selling autobiography – Glamrou: From Quaran to Queen.

Are you happy?

Fuck off.

Imagine that the BBC have asked you to produce a primetime show. What would it be and who else would be involved?

The lives of all the Denims told through the perspective of ants in a live-action black and white documentary of an ant-farm.
